VOF Westergouwe and Credit Linked Beheer sign agreement for realisation 54 flats in Gouda

With the signing of the purchase and construction agreement for an apartment building in project Westergouwe in Gouda, 2023 has started well. VOF Westergouwe (a collaboration between VolkerWessels Vastgoed and Heijmans Vastgoed) and Credit Linked Beheer have reached an agreement for the realisation of the apartment building. The building, to a design by Kokon Architectuur en Stedenbouw, comprises 54 flats, a communal bicycle shed on the ground floor and parking in a communal courtyard, and was purchased by Credit Linked Beheer for the Duurzaamwoningen Fonds.


The design, with an architectural nod to the old Gouda warehouses, results in a high-quality complex with lots of detailing, a beautiful palette of colour combinations in the facade bricks and cantilevered balconies with wide expansive views. Construction of the flats will start in July 2023.

The apartment complex is located in a recognisable spot on Van Dijkesingel. The building is sustainable and will be built in accordance with BENG standards, making it a great addition to the Westergouwe area development. This stimulates sustainable living in a market where demand is high. After completion, the flats will become available for the middle rental market via Credit Linked Beheer around the end of 2024.


Westergouwe is a green and water-rich residential area of Gouda. It is within cycling distance of Gouda's historic city centre, centrally located and easily accessible. Over the next few years, the district will grow into some 4,500 homes with its own urban amenities, greenery, water and plenty of space for recreation and play.


The realisation of the flats is in the hands of Boele & van Eesteren, which, like VolkerWessels Vastgoed, is part of VolkerWessels.
