Today, 14 May 2019, it was announced at a press conference at Circuit Park Zandvoort that the Formula 1 returns to the Netherlands. VolkerWessels is one of the six (family-owned) companies that will support the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix Zandvoort the coming three years.
Chase Carey, CEO of Formula One Management (FOM), today officially announces in Zandvoort that the race will return to the Netherlands after an absence of 35 years. With Heineken as title sponsor, the official name of the event will be: Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix.
