VolkerWessels Cycling Team
Racing as a team to win. The VolkerWessels Cycling Team is a cycling team on a continental level. Our 16 ambitious riders, together with a professional support team, compete for the win both at home and abroad. VolkerWessels stands for talent development and we therefore do everything in our power to realise the sporting ambitions of our riders. Through sustainable cooperation with the business community, we are also able to support the social development of our cyclists so that success is achieved not only on the bicycle but also alongside it.
Finally, we consider a healthy body and strong mind to be of great importance. We use our team to stimulate vitality among our employees.
Motorsport & Innovation
Young people with great dreams, ranging from sporting ambitions to developing the most advanced, groundbreaking innovations. VolkerWessels supports various initiatives with which we are able to help talent and share knowledge in the field of technology. For example, we are a partner of Team Forze, the TU Delft student team that has been achieving impressive successes with its self-developed hydrogen car for several years now. In addition, we support GP Elite, the racing team that participates in the Porsche Mobil Super Cup (supporting programme for Formula 1) and last year not only won the overall classification but also took the Rookie of the Year title. Finally, we are partner of the young Formula 3 driver Bent Viscaal. Bent is full of ambition, has already achieved some impressive performances and dreams of one day racing a Formula 1 car over Zandvoort. Step by step he is planning his way to the absolute top and has to deal with many factors. We are proud to assist him in this great ambition.
